How do I open a DLM E-trade account?

I do not know what shares to buy, what can I do?

We give weekly stock recommendations to our customers.

Do I create a new CSCS account, since I have an existing account somewhere?

Yes, but you can retain the existing Clearing House Number -CHN

What type of Bank account do I need to operate an E-trade account

Either a Savings or Current account. But please note it must be a Nigerian bank account as this is a statutory requirement.

How long does it take to open a CSCS account?

Once all the KYC requirements are met, it takes 48 hours.

What time can I place trade on the platform?

Trading session is between 10:00am till 2:30pm, Monday till Friday excluding public holidays.

How do I trade my share certificates on the trading app?

Only dematerialised share certificates by the registrars can be traded via the platform.

What is the conversion of physical share certificate dematerilisation?

It is the conversion of physical share certificates form to electronic form, which is then credited to the customer's CSCS account.

If I share my shares, how long does it take to get my money?

It takes T+3 i.e Trading Day + 3days for the trades to settle, once your account is on direct cash settlement, the fund will be credited to your bank account. However, if your account is not on direct cash settlement, you can send a withdrawal notification to equities@dlm.group
